Yesterday I received a letter From mother. The content of the letter has made me worried about your present activities and future.
Reading the letter I have learnt that you are actively involved in student politics and you spend most of your time in it neglecting your studies. Our parents and I are very disappointed at your negative activities. You should know that student politics is now a very dirty thing. I know very well that the past history of the students was very glorious. They played a leading role in the political crisis in 1952, 1954, 1966, 1970 and 1971 and thus contributed greatly to many of our achievements, losing its glorious past through extreme crises. Now. Student leaders are not getting praise and honor from people. Mist if our student leaders have gone astray NOW. They are not controlled by their conscience and principles. Actually, our students’ politics has lost its previous glory. So, I request you ardently to get back from this dirty thing. Instead, be attentive to Your studies and prepare yourself to be an ideal citizen of the country.
