paragraph- Campus violence

Bangladesh has seen a rise in campus violence in recent years, with incidents ranging from verbal abuse to physical violence. The causes of this violence are complex and involve a number of factors, including social, economic and political issues.

The most common form of violence is verbal abuse and intimidation, which is often perpetrated by students, faculty and staff. This can be seen in classrooms, on campus grounds and in student dorms. There is also evidence of physical violence, including physical assault, destruction of property and vandalism.

In addition, some students are also victims of sexual harassment, which can take the form of unwanted physical contact, inappropriate comments or other inappropriate behaviour. This form of violence has been linked to power imbalances within the university, particularly between male and female students, as well as between students from different social, economic and ethnic backgrounds.

The impact of campus violence is far-reaching. It can lead to a decrease in student morale, academic performance and safety on campus, as well as a decrease in overall student satisfaction. Additionally, it can have a long-term impact on the university’s reputation and attract negative media coverage.

To address campus violence, the government of Bangladesh has implemented a number of initiatives to increase safety
